- Prison Me No Way presentation
On 11 March 2024, Paul Wilkinson (CEO) and Neil McCunnell (Deputy CEO) spoke on the work of Prison Me No Way. Paul firstly gave an overview of the work of the Trust followed by Neil who gave a presentation bringing Members up to date with the challenges facing youngsters - President Sidney with Lewis and Scarlet
A great success of RYLA at Hebden Bridge and our two attendees Scarlet Robshaw and Lewis Hancox gave a presentation, describing the activities and what they learnt from the week. Scarlet and Lewis felt they had learned a lot about teamwork, trust and themselves and had increased confidence as a result. They would definitely recommend the course. - P1040406

- My Happy Village School in Cambodia
Tom Jenkins a teacher from Hornsea School and Language College gave a presentation about the school’s work with pupils on the recent visit near Siem Reap in Cambodia. The photo shows President-elect Graham McDonald and Rtn Maung presenting a cheque to the school at the Rotary Club assembly - Morpheus
The team decided to name their F24 car Morpheus in memory of James Moorfoot a popular 28-year-old teacher at Hornsea School who collapsed and died while playing football in February this year, James Moorfoot’s family joined the team for the event and saw the crowd supporting the car and screaming ‘Morpheus’ - Kieran2017
Guest Kieran Sandwell who gave an inspirational talk about his walk around the United Kingdom to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. Kieran was born a heart defect and has a heart transplant.Starting off in London and has completed just over 500 miles. He has only 4,500 miles to go and hopes to complete the journey around Christmas time. - John Clayton's visit
