Andy Green who has a distinguished military background, gave a talk about Pilgrim Bandits that raises funds for expeditions, and grants which provide injured service personnel and emergency services personnel with specialist sports equipment and wheelchairs. Pilgrim Bandits Charity was established by a small group of Special Forces veterans in 2007 with the sole aim of using their unique training and experience to help and inspire injured front-line personnel to live life to the full. By pushing injured men and women into physically and mentally demanding situations that they would not have dreamed possible; retracing the Heroes of Telemark in Norway, kayaking the Orange River in South Africa, canoe down the Norwegian Fjords, jumping from aircraft, running races, trekking across inhospitable terrain. – “Always a Little Further” - Teacher Sam Pattison and students presenting "Morpheus"
